The mobile solar surveillance market is getting crowded, but not all systems are created equal.

Recently, a customer told us we were more expensive than their current provider but wanted to use our MST until “their guy” could deploy his system.

Once they experienced our Avigilon Alta Aware technology, their response was priceless:

“WOW! This is way better than what our guy provides!”

There’s a big difference between putting cameras on a solar trailer and delivering a real surveillance solution.

Introducing the LST — Life Safety Tower
After a lot of development and testing, I’m excited to introduce the final version of the LST — Life Safety Tower from Axess Technologies.
The LST was created with one goal: get critical information to people when and where they need it.
The latest version features a 27-inch outdoor display that can be updated remotely from anywhere in the world. Flag conditions, closures, weather alerts, emergency messages, maps, and other information can be changed instantly.
But the LST doesn't just display information — it communicates it.
When the camera detects someone approaching, the tower can automatically play an audio message matching what's on the screen.
For the beach LST pictured here, someone approaching during a Double Red Flag condition would hear:
“Double Red Flag Warning. The water is closed today. Anyone entering the water will receive a $500 fine.”

The LST also includes a two-way intercom that can call 911 or virtually any destination it's programmed to call — lifeguards, security, campus police, park personnel, emergency management, and more.

Accessibility was an important part of the design. By combining visual information, audible messaging, and two-way communication, the LST gives people multiple ways to receive critical safety information and is designed with accessible communication in mind.
It can operate on shore power, solar with shore-power backup, or completely off-grid on solar.
And it's not just for beaches.
College campuses • Boat ramps • Hiking trails • Stadiums • Mountain-bike trails • National & State Parks • Ski resorts • Public spaces
