We were recently blessed with the opportunity to transform these spaces for our waterfront clients in Lake Monticello—and our crews absolutely crushed it!

This project added 560 square feet of finished living space, creating a comfortable year-round area where the homeowners can enjoy their beautiful lake views in every season.

As with every project we take on, we handled the permitting process and worked closely with the Fluvanna County Building Department to ensure the work was completed properly, safely, and in full compliance with applicable codes.

Here are some photos from an addition we recently completed in Lake Monticello.

The homeowners wanted to find a way to keep their aging father close to family rather than moving him into a retirement or assisted-living facility. We helped bring that vision to life by creating a comfortable, private space that allows him to remain at home and be independent, while still having support near by.

Projects like this are a great reminder that, when the right space and accommodations can be created, building an addition can be a meaningful alternative to moving a loved one into a retirement home. It allows families to stay together, maintain independence, and create a living environment tailored specifically to their needs.

The project turned out great, and most importantly, the homeowners are thrilled with the finished space.
