Joshua Tree Preservation

Joshua Tree Preservation The preservation and proliferation of the Joshua Tree I first noticed the trees sprouting from the desert as we sped across Pearblossom highway in 1968.

I was 12 years old. Since then I have always been fascinated with the iconic tree. Described as anything from "grotesque" to "inspirational," this unique tree plays a critical role in the survival of Mojave desert animal species and contributed to the welfare of the early Piute Indians. We are dedicated to the transplantation and preservation of the species.
