We model it before we wire it.
For this custom home, we scanned the actual structure, compared it with the blueprints, and built a detailed 3D model before installation.
That allows us to coordinate electrical panels, low-voltage equipment, lighting, HVAC, plumbing fixtures, furniture, and the electrical service before these conflicts reach the field.
The goal is simple: make decisions before they become expensive field changes.

You build a waterfront home to enjoy the view — not to look at posts and equipment sticking up from the dock.

A traditional boat lift often leaves motors, posts and hardware visible above the deck. One alternative is a low-profile dock, where the hydraulic equipment is moved to shore and the dock stays much cleaner visually.

The challenge is coordination. Structure, hydraulic lines, electrical conduits, fresh water and lighting all have to fit into a very limited space and stay as hidden as possible.

We solve that by modeling the dock in 3D first, coordinating the details with the other trades, and then building from the model.

We’ve completed low-profile systems like this before and can do the same for future waterfront projects.

A 220 lb chandelier doesn't forgive mistakes.

When designers choose oversized custom chandeliers, our work starts long before installation day.

Before framing is complete, we request the manufacturer's specifications to learn the exact weight, mounting requirements, fixture dimensions and structural support requirements.

Based on those specifications, we coordinate with the builder and framer to make sure the ceiling structure is built to carry the load, not just a standard electrical box.

During installation, every heavy fixture is secured with an independent safety cable. If the primary mounting hardware ever fails, the safety cable prevents the chandelier from falling.

Beautiful lighting deserves invisible engineering.

A bad water heater? Not this time.

We were called because the water heater stopped working. Our technician traced the problem back to the electrical panel and found a failing breaker in an old Sylvania panel. The breaker had deteriorated to the point that it was literally falling apart.

Since the owner is preparing to sell the property, replacing one breaker would only solve today's problem. Older Sylvania equipment can also become an issue during a 4-Point Inspection and insurance review.

Instead of risking another repair or a delay during the sale, the owner decided to replace the entire panel.

One service call solved today's problem and helped prevent tomorrow's problem.

Who should pay for this change order?

Our electricians arrived for trim-out and found a black kitchen wall, but nothing in the plans specified black devices. So standard white outlets were installed.

Easy fix? Yes. Free fix? No.

New devices, additional labor, possibly another trip to the jobsite, and a small missing design detail becomes a change order.

Designer, GC, customer, or electrician. Who should pay?

Or should details like device colors simply be finalized in the plans before construction?

**Our Ford Transit finally met its electric cousin. ⚡🚐**

Looks finished... until you look inside.

Before taking over an abandoned electrical project, we insisted on a complete inspection of the existing wiring.

That inspection uncovered a nail driven straight through a hidden cable.

Taking over someone else's work means taking on someone else's risks. That's why we verify every circuit before putting our name on the job.

Sometimes, the only thing standing between a house and a successful closing is an electrical code violation.

This home's electrical panel was installed inside a clothes closet, a location prohibited by NEC 2020 Section 240.24(D).

We relocated the panel outdoors, installed a new code-compliant service disconnect, upgraded the grounding system, and brought the electrical service up to current code requirements.

The inspection issue was cleared, and the home is now ready for sale.
