🌧️ Rainy weather is moving through our area the next few days, so we wanted to give our customers a heads-up: appointments over the next few days may be delayed or need to be rescheduled as conditions change.

Our technicians’ safety comes first. They won’t get on a roof during rain or unsafe conditions. If a technician is able to arrive but can’t safely access the roof, they can still complete about 95% of the service from inside your home- Then we’ll return within the week to take care of the roof vent, and no home access will be needed for that visit.

We’ll also take care to protect your home and our equipment when working in wet conditions. We’re keeping a close eye on the forecast and will contact you directly if your appointment needs to change. Thank you for your patience and understanding!

Thank you to our friends at Palm Harbor Fire Rescue for coming to meet the littles today at school for Fire Prevention Month! Here is our very own Jr Marketing Assistant getting a tour of the truck and a lesson on fire prevention.

Fifteen minutes after another company left her home, this homeowner called us to schedule.

She told us they said they had cleaned her dryer vent—but also told her they never go onto roofs. Her dryer’s error codes were still showing, and she wanted to know whether the roof vent had been addressed.

A couple of days after being “cleaned” by the others, we found this at the roof vent. The before-and-after photos show why the whole vent path matters.

When comparing services, ask more than “How much?” Ask what’s included and what costs extra.

At The Lint Man, our standard cleaning includes:
✓ The lint trap and inside of the dryer
✓ The connection from the dryer to the wall
✓ The full length of the vent
✓ The roof vent

Our equipment reaches the full vent, and checking the roof vent is part of our standard service. If roof access isn’t safe or permitted, we explain that and look for another safe route, such as attic access when the home allows. If any section can’t be reached, we’ll be clear about what was and wasn’t cleaned.

Thorough service. Clear expectations. That’s The Lint Man difference.

Choosing a service company is about more than the job itself—it’s the whole experience. We take pride in having highly trained, professional technicians who treat your home with care, clean up after the work, and pay attention to the details that can easily be missed. Our service goes beyond simply clearing the vent.

Thank you, Jimmy, for sharing your experience and recognizing James’s work and Jessie, who helped schedule your appointment. We’re glad you felt well taken care of from start to finish! ⭐️

When The Lint Man has to think like The Gutter Man…

We keep finding downspouts being used as dryer vents, and this is NOT the collaboration we had in mind. 🤣

The Gutter Man of Tampa Bay, come get these downspouts—they wandered into another attic!

Who keeps putting these here? A+ for creativity, but some materials really should stay where they belong. 😂
