This was a turnkey electrical replacement for an HOA in Lansbrook.

The old meter socket had completely rusted out at the bottom, leaving an open area where live electrical parts were accessible from underneath. In a common area near a golf course and roadway, that is a serious safety concern — especially with the possibility of children, pedestrians, or maintenance workers being nearby.

The old breaker panel was also missing the exterior door, leaving the breakers exposed to the weather, and the concrete post was spalling. Spalling is when concrete starts breaking apart, often because moisture gets inside, corrodes the rebar, and causes the concrete to crack and separate.

We replaced the concrete post, installed a new meter socket, installed a new main breaker panel, added a whole-panel surge protector, and added a new GFCI receptacle on the side of the post for convenience.

We also coordinated the Duke Energy shutdown and reconnect, handled the permit and inspection process, and completed the job from start to finish.

This is the kind of electrical equipment that can be easy to overlook until it becomes a real hazard.

This was a commercial repair at a local carwash where the emergency stop/start button had failed.

After diagnosing the problem, we found the button was badly corroded. The metal box and conduit it was mounted in were also severely deteriorated from the wet, harsh environment.

We removed the damaged components, replaced the bad conduit section with new PVC conduit, and installed a new weatherproof start/stop button in a corrosion-resistant enclosure.

One thing people may not realize: rusted electrical boxes and conduit are not just cosmetic. Depending on how the installation was originally wired, metal conduit may be part of the equipment grounding path. If that conduit corrodes away or loses continuity, it may not clear a fault properly when needed.

In a place like a carwash, equipment controls need to work when they are needed most.

A lanai airflow upgrade from a recent job in Lansbrook.

This covered outdoor area originally had one ceiling fan and two recessed lights. We removed the existing fan and recessed lights, converted the light locations to ceiling fan-rated boxes and mounts, and installed three owner-supplied ceiling fans.

That gave the homeowner much better airflow across the full lanai instead of relying on one fan to cover the whole space.

One important detail: recessed light openings are not the same as ceiling fan boxes. When a fan is being installed where a light used to be, the box and mounting need to be properly rated and supported for a ceiling fan.

Clean install, better airflow, and a much more finished look for the outdoor living area.

A clean pantry outlet installation from a kitchen renovation in Lansbrook.

We installed new receptacles on a dedicated 20-amp circuit for the homeowner’s pantry appliances. Since the pantry had darker woodwork, we used brown outlets and plates so the finished electrical work blended in instead of standing out.

Before starting, we protected the shelving, countertop, and stored items with plastic and drop cloths. Once the work was complete, everything was cleaned up and left ready for use.

It’s a small part of the overall kitchen renovation, but details like dedicated circuits, outlet placement, matching devices, and protecting the finished space make a difference.

Another Tesla Wall Connector installed and ready for home charging.

For this project, we installed a new dedicated 60-amp breaker and circuit for a Tesla charger, providing Level 2 charging at home.

The installation included the exterior conduit run, Tesla Wall Connector mounting, circuit labeling, cleanup, permit, and inspection process.

We are a Tesla Certified Installer and handle the electrical side from start to finish so the charger is installed cleanly, safely, and properly permitted.

This is why pool equipment panels are worth paying attention to.

The old pool panel had feeder wires burning up at the lugs. Left alone, that kind of issue can eventually lead to the pool pump losing power, power cutting in and out, or worse.

We replaced the old outdoor panel with a new outdoor-rated pool panel and updated the setup with proper circuit protection.

This job included a new GFCI breaker for the pool pump, a breaker for the pool light, a breaker for the Ring camera above, and a new GFCI receptacle below the panel for gardening, service work, or general outdoor use.

We also added a 240-volt pool pump switch next to the receptacle, so the pool technician can shut off the pump without needing to unlock or open the panel.

The obsolete equipment on the left side was removed, the wall was cleaned up, and concrete patch was applied so the homeowner can paint it later.

Cleaned up, labeled, checked, and handled through the inspection process.

A look at a 200-amp panel replacement we finished in Clearwater 33761.

This job included removing the existing electrical panel, installing the new 200-amp panel, reconnecting the existing circuits, and installing two new copper ground rods outside as part of the grounding work.

Panel replacements take planning, organization, and attention to detail. Once the cover is back on, the finished panel may look simple, but there is a lot that has to be done correctly behind the scenes.

Clean layout, proper grounding, labeled circuits, and tested before leaving the job.

A few smart-home upgrades from this project in the 33759 area.

We replaced the existing doorbell with a Ring Doorbell Pro, installed the chime kit, and added several door alarm sensors.

We also ran new wiring and installed new boxes and conduit for a light over the garage and a backyard floodlight/camera.

These devices may look simple once they’re finished, but the wiring, mounting, chime setup, weather protection, and conduit work all matter if you want the system to work reliably and look clean on the house.

A quieter bathroom fan can make a bigger difference than most people expect.

This older exhaust fan was replaced with a Panasonic WhisperRemodel fan using the existing ceiling location and exhaust duct. The new unit was wired to the wall controls, secured in place, and tested once everything was finished.

We also covered the nearby surfaces and bathroom fixtures before beginning the work to keep the area protected and make cleanup easier.

The finished fan has a clean appearance and provides better bathroom ventilation without the excessive noise common with many older units.
