The Jora Compost Tumbler is without a doubt the easiest to use and the most efficient waste composter ever made. In 1989 the Swedish company Jora designed their Compost Tumblers to fill a need for a composter that could work all year around. The unique insulation proved to be the key to success, not only enabling the composter to be used throughout all seasons, but to work at higher temperatures,

which allows home gardeners to compost harder materials, like bones, avocado and peach pits etc. After a quarter century the Jora Compost Tumbler is still unbeatable in terms of speed and efficiency and we take pride in offering you the easiest, fastest, most efficient and convenient means of composting your kitchen scraps.

While filling my with all my food scraps and garden clippings, I just realized that my joraform composter eats better than most Americans! As it gets all my nutrient dense organic food scraps that are colorful and rich in phytonutrients and fibers that feed the beneficial microbes in my insulated compost tumbler. Plus my composter gets an essential ingredient that I don't eat: compressed sawdust pellets that mix with my food scraps and garden clippings to make all the magic happen. This allows me to transform my food scraps into my homemade organic compost in a month or two that will then grow more nutrient dense food in my garden to feed me. I encourage everyone to compost your food scraps as they are often thrown away and can not benefit you and your garden and generate more waste that needlessly fills landfills. My makes this process a breeze throughout the year.

β€˜To the person who uses metal straws to save fish but consumes animals, I’d like to say thank you. To the vegan who isn’t aware of our homelessness problem, thank you. To the climate change activists who aren’t attentive to fast fashion, thank you. To the girl who gives her old clothes to the disadvantaged but isn’t educated on s*x trafficking, thank you. To the guy who picks up rubbish on his way home from a surf but isn’t well-informed about male su***de rates, thank you. To the people who stand up for horse racing concerns but are uninformed of the cruelty of the dairy industry, thank you. To the positive Instagram influencer who hasn’t cultivated a plastic-free lifestyle, thank you. To the grandparents who knit for sick children but aren’t up to date with current race and homophobic issues, thank you. To the students that stand up for bullying but are unaware of the constant domestic violence epidemic, thank you. To the peace activists, feminists, stray dog adopters, teachers, volunteers, foster carers, recyclers, givers, doers and believers, I say thank you. We are all on a different path and we all see through different eyes. Current world issues that you are passionate about, aren’t always what other people are trying to change… and that’s okay. It’s not everyone’s job to save every part of the world but it is everyone’s responsibility to thank every person who is doing THEIR part to save the world. Don’t critique, just appreciate. Don’t judge, just educate. We’re all trying our best. Thank you.’ Carla Borthwick.

Our favorite gardening guru found sprouted seeds in his Jora! If you don’t follow him already, check out John Kohler from Growing Your Greens !πŸ₯¬ πŸ™ŒπŸ»πŸŒ±πŸŒΏπŸƒπŸ’š

This is one of your favorite fruits pits... These sprouted seeds will turn into a palm tree and potentially make more fruit! Germination can be complicated on these hard pits. I found an easier way... just put the date pits in your compost pile, keep it aerated and warm with proper moisture and they sprout. These were pulled out of the compost tumbler and will be planted and hopefully provide fruit in eight years. Normally trees are cloned and only takes four years to produce fruit. Until then I'm happy buying dates. Plant more of your fruit seeds and pits so we can turn the world into the garden of eden.
