‼️OSP INSPECTORS NEEDED‼️

Help wanted to work on a project in the Clarkston, WA area.

This position requires a working level of knowledge in all technical aspects of OSP (Outside Plant) fiber and copper networks.

☑️ DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES ☑️

- Identifies, photographs, and sketches detailed information of required facilities, including cables, poles, terminals, handholes, & other outside plant infrastructure.

- Capture accurate measurements of attachment heights, span distances, utility structures, & distances from existing/ proposed OSP facilities to centerlines, property lines, and curb lines.

- Identify power and communication facilities and ownership on utility poles.

- Record bonding, grounding, guying, and anchor information.

- Deliver detailed field notes & photographs to the engineering team.

- Understanding of OSP construction techniques.

- Ability to read and understand maps, conduit records, and layout drawings.

- Be able to utilize tools, such as measuring wheels effectively, height sticks, pull finders, MH/HH hooks, & laser rangefinder.

☑️ QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS ☑️

- Experience in fiber-optic/telecommunications/telecom construction industry.

- Experienced in the use of Microsoft Office.

- High School Diploma and / or equivalent work experience

- Ability to work 90% of the time outdoors

*Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation with an acceptable driving record*

💰This is a 1099 contract position. Pay is based on experience.💰

Inspectors need to work on a project within the Clarkston, WA and Moscow, Idaho Markets.

Job Description:

This position requires a working level knowledge in all technical aspects of OSP (Outside Plant) fiber and copper networks. The successful candidate is responsible for identifying the existing field design and layout of the OSP telecommunications network, including aerial, buried, and underground fiber network design and layout, underground conduit, manhole/handhole, building entrance, and riser facilities.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Ability to read and understand construction prints, and be able to identify conflicts with existing outside plant facilities, select routing of lines and equipment required for projects

- Experienced in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and Google Earth.

High School Diploma and or equivalent work experience

- Ability to work 90% of the time outdoors

Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation with an acceptable driving record.

Good organizational, written, and verbal communication skills

Pay is 1099 contract. Rate is depending on level of experience.

Inspectors Needed in the West Central Idaho Area ‼️

Job Description:

The OSP Inspector will be responsible for ensuring that all the client’s underground, buried and aerial plant facilities meet the current standards through inspections, and corrections work performed by contractors. The Inspector will document all inspections, audits, and pole transfers electronically, and be expected to communicate via email, and cellular phone with time stamp application.

Qualifications:

· Previous experience performing NESC inspections or experience working on an aerial cable line crew

· Previous experience performing wooden pole ground line inspections.

· Must be proficient in OSP Construction Standards

· Familiarity with the National Electric Safety Code.

· Computer experience:

· Microsoft Windows XP, Excel 2003 or newer and Outlook

· Familiar and comfortable with internet usage, and web page browsing.

· Good communication skills.

· Personal time management and organization skills.

· Construction contractor management skills.

· A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and the ability to travel on short notice.
