Moved yesterday’s newly eclosed monarch into the sun. With the temps being on the cool side I wanted to give this little guy every chance I could to make it to Mexico and overwinter successfully.
So he gets to hang out on the dahlias in the sun until he’s ready to fly off. Not a bad way to start a journey in my opinion 🩷🍁

I was peer pressured (aka lightly bullied lol) to go tent camping this weekend at letchworth state park in New York.
It was 10x more beautiful than I would have thought. The pictures just don’t do it justice.
I am happy to report that I did in fact survive the tent and it was not nearly as bad as I thought it would be lol 😂
All joking aside, I truly loved being able to get away with family for the weekend.🩷🩷

A little photo dump of the past week and a farm update.
I have all of the trays and first round of dahlias planted 🙌🏻🙌🏻
Any dahlias I plant now are just “extras” that I already have some of that variety in the ground.
I’ve been planting since the beginning of March and really intensely for the past month so I’m glad to almost be “done”.
But every thing is looking so good! I’ll film a little farm walkthrough this week ☺️
