Your water is safe to drink. The repairs have been completed and all of the water samples came back good. The boil water notice has been rescinded.

Artesia ONLY

Pahrump Utility Company will be performing a scheduled valve replacement on a main waterline. This work is expected to temporarily impact water pressure within the Artesia water system service area.

As a precaution, a boil water advisory has been issued for all residents:

Start: April 15 at 10:00 PM
End: April 20 at 5:00 PM
During this time:

Bring all tap water to a rolling boil for at least 3 minutes, then allow it to cool before use.
Use bottled water for drinking whenever possible.

Boiled water should be used for:
Drinking
Making ice
Brushing teeth
Washing dishes
Food preparation
