A customer had a water leak tucked high and behind their water heater in an extremely tight spot — the kind of repair that requires precision, patience, and experience. Roto-Rooter took on the challenge, accessing the difficult area and completing the repair despite the abnormal level of difficulty the placement presented. While on site, Roto-Rooter also replaced the gas water heater with a new 40-gallon unit. We disconnected and disposed of the old water heater and installed the new one complete with dielectric unions, flex lines, and a T&P drainage tube. The unit was tested and fired before we left to confirm everything was working properly. The water heater installation comes with a 1-year warranty on workmanship. A customer called Roto-Rooter out for a drainage issue and we got straight to work. After crawling under the home, we found old cast iron piping in poor shape with no access point for standard drain cleaning equipment. We installed an exterior cleanout, then went back under with a camera, cable machine, and jetter to begin descaling — pulling out dirt and rock along the way until we hit a point we couldn't get past. That stopping point was directly beneath a concrete pillar from a recently built deck — installed as deep as or deeper than the sewer line itself, and it had broken the line in the process. The fix: reroute the waste lines with new PVC under the home, core drill through the footer, dig approximately 30 feet of new line, and tie into the sewer beyond the damaged section. Work is backed by a 10-year guarantee on craftsmanship & a 1-year guarantee on blockages. When the problem runs deep, Roto-Rooter finds it and fixes it right.
