I did not have access to expensive toys to experiment with, but I did have a little car that became the victim of several experiments. Hoping l could make the car run, l attached it to a piece of wire and plugged it into a receptacle. The sparks and melting wire were my first clue that I should be a little more careful with electricity! Not the best outcome, but I was not deterred. A couple years

after graduating high school while working/going to college, I began my career in an electrical apprenticeship program. Four years later, in 2008, I received my journeyman’s license, and eventually became a master. I believe everything l do should bring glory of God (1 Corinthians 10:31). Customer called in wondering why the breaker was tripping after he installed the fixture himself- and that’s what I found...
He was on the right path though, just needed to strip those wires only enough for the wirenuts to cover the copper and just a little bigger wirenuts🙂.
