That’s a wrap on our week with the Oxford Fire Department!

Russom Construction made three separate stops this week so we could serve lunch to each shift and make sure everyone had a chance to sit down for a good meal.

Throughout the summer, we’ve had the privilege of serving some of the people who serve our community every day, from law enforcement and utility crews to our firefighters. It has been a simple way for us to say thank you to the people who answer the call, keep the lights on and help make Oxford and Lafayette County such a great place to call home.

To all three shifts at the Oxford Fire Department, thank you for welcoming us this week, and thank you for all you do!

This week, Russom Construction had the privilege of kicking off three days of lunches with the Oxford Fire Department, making sure each shift got a meal and a little appreciation.

These men and women show up for our community every single day, often when people are having one of their very worst days. Serving them lunch is a small gesture compared to what they do for Oxford and Lafayette County, but it’s one we were proud to make.

Thank you for letting us spend a little time with you, and more importantly, thank you for everything you do to keep our community safe.

Today, Russom Construction had the privilege of serving lunch to the hardworking linemen and employees of Oxford Utilities.

From responding during severe weather to working behind the scenes every day to keep the lights on, these men and women play an essential role in our community. Their work often happens in difficult conditions and at all hours, and we are grateful for their dedication and service.
