Having the proper tools to do a job is very important when it comes to getting a job completed efficiently. EKS understands this principle and ensures that technicians have the necessary resources at their disposal. Next week, we will be starting the refrigeration installation for the new Culver's in North Liberty. Next month will be Sonic.

Also next month we will have the equipment to better handle equipment deliveries as our equipment installation is also picking up. No more loading equipment on the open utility trailer I had custom made for hauling a ATVs.

Our shop is filling up with equipment to be delivered and installed.

Had a run of installs the past two weeks. Few items the guys didn't get pictures of. Weither you need us to order the equipment or your supplying your own equipment we are able to receive, deliver and install. We also can drop ship equipment directly to you.

Our warranty portfolio and service area are both growing. Nathan was in Des Moines today, handling multiple service calls. This is a small countertop ice cream machine that required a drive motor replacement.

New Pasta drop for Noodles. EKS received, delivered and Installed along with training staff.

Needing new equipment. Use our facility and have your equipment shipped to EKS. Once in, we can coordinate the delivery and install. We can also source equipment through local distributors. Needing old equipment hauled away we can help with that too..

EKS does charge a handling fee that covers receiving and storage for up to 30 days on all equipment shipped in to our shop.

Today we ran a call on a walk in freezer that was struggling to temp. Was told another service company installed a new compressor less then 6 months ago. I asked manager if they were sure this had a new compressor installed as the compressor is likely original with a date code of 2013. Sure enough that company billed them for a compressor that was never installed. I also found the leak and discovered the repair was actually a fan cycle control that was leaking.

Its unfortunate that some techs or companies would try to take advantage of a customer. This wasn't a couple hundred dollar repair. Im guessing anywhere from $5000 to $8000.
