The Maryland School for the Blind Gym & Pool Project continues to take shape—and there’s a lot happening on site!

• Buildings are progressing upwards
• Gym roof trusses are now in place
• Concrete is being poured for the multi-purpose pool
• BGE has energized the building, marking another important milestone

Each milestone brings us closer to delivering a state-of-the-art facility that will serve Maryland School for the Blind students and the greater school community for years to come.

At Lewis Contractors, every successful project is built on attention to detail—inside and out.

We're making great progress at Hood College in Frederick, Maryland, where our team is completing important upgrades that will enhance both the performance and preservation of campus facilities. Inside, we're modernizing laboratory fume hood systems to support safer, more efficient learning and research environments. Outside, skilled craftspeople are performing exterior cleaning, caulking, cornice restoration, and installing block modillions medallions to preserve the building's historic architectural character.

From advanced building systems to historic restoration, we're proud to deliver solutions that help institutions like Hood College continue serving students for generations to come.

This National Golf Month, Lewis Contractors is proud to recognize the golf and country club communities we’ve had the privilege to serve. These clubs are more than places to play—they are gathering spaces where members, families, and friends create lasting memories.

We’re honored to have partnered with Maryland Golf & Country Clubs to transform key areas of the clubhouse, including a complete reconfiguration of the bar, Family Lounge, and formal dining room. The project also included a new outdoor dining pavilion designed to provide members with a welcoming space to relax while enjoying panoramic views of the course.

From clubhouse renovations to modern amenities, Lewis Contractors understands the unique needs of private clubs and recreation facilities, delivering thoughtful construction solutions that enhance the member experience.

Lewis Contractors is proud to announce the successful completion of the CCBC Student Services Connector Project at the Community College of Baltimore County's Dundalk Campus.

This renovation included updated exterior improvements, modernized office spaces, and a refreshed interior corridor, creating a more functional, welcoming, and connected environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors. The completed work enhances both the appearance and functionality of this campus facility while supporting CCBC's commitment to student success.

We're grateful to the Community College of Baltimore County, the design team, and our dedicated trade partners for their collaboration throughout the project. It was a privilege to help deliver another space that will serve the campus community for years to come.
