SAFETY FIRST — EVERY JOB, EVERY TIME
Yesterday was a serious reminder of just how quickly things can go wrong on a job site.
One of our owners took a 12foot fall from a ladder. Thankfully, there were no broken bones. He’s sore, but he’s already back on his feet and slowly getting back to being the strong guy we all know.
We’re incredibly thankful he walked away from something that could have turned out much differently. We’re thankful for God’s protection and for another day to get him home safely to his family.
Roofing and construction are tough work, but no job is more important than the people doing it. Ladders, roofs, heights, tools, and equipment demand respect and attention every single day.
Take the extra minute. Check your footing. Secure your equipment. Don’t rush. Look out for the guy working beside you.
The goal isn’t just to get the job done it’s to make sure everyone gets home safe at the end of the day.
We’re thankful he’s okay, thankful for everyone who checked on him, and thankful for the reminder to never take safety for granted.
Work hard. Work smart. Get home safe.
