The first CCDI Georgia Construction Ready training cohort has officially graduated, marking an exciting milestone for workforce development in the communities surrounding Rivian's new electric vehicle manufacturing campus in Stanton Springs, Georgia.

Following four weeks of hands-on training, all 24 participants attended a hiring fair where each graduate was matched with a contractor, taking an important step toward a career in the skilled trades.

The program reflects what's possible when industry and community partners come together to create meaningful opportunities. Through the collaboration of CCDI, Construction Ready, Rivian, CJ Adventures (Clayco's joint venture with JE Dunn Construction), participating contractors, and local workforce partners, this initiative is helping connect residents with training, employment opportunities, and long-term career pathways.

Congratulations to all 24 graduates, and thank you to everyone who helped make this first cohort a success. We look forward to building on this momentum and creating even more opportunities in Georgia.

A new chapter of waterfront living has arrived in Tempe! Clayco's Shorehaven project has officially celebrated its grand opening, bringing three residential towers and 722 apartments to the shores of Tempe Town Lake.

Built by Clayco for Silverstein Properties, the 1.3-million-square-foot development is the first phase of South Pier, a new mixed-use waterfront destination that will bring together residential living, retail, dining, and entertainment.

With lakefront views, resort-style amenities, and thoughtfully designed spaces for residents to connect, Shorehaven is helping shape a vibrant new neighborhood in the heart of Tempe.

In recognition of Substance Abuse Prevention Month, CJ Adventures, Clayco's joint venture with JE Dunn Construction, partnered with Walton Empowers at the Rivian manufacturing plant project in Georgia to help raise awareness about substance use, reduce stigma, and encourage conversations around prevention, recovery, and available support.

Safety is about more than the work we do. It's about the well-being of the people doing it. By connecting our craft professionals and project teams with community organizations and resources, we're helping create an environment where people feel supported and know where to turn when they need help.

In observance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Clayco team at the Rivian project site shared a meaningful reminder with the women working in the field about the importance of breast cancer awareness and prioritizing their health and well-being.

The moment also highlighted the importance of supporting women in construction and fostering a workplace where everyone feels seen, supported and empowered to care for their health.

The Illinois Quantum and Microelectronics Park(IQMP) has been named the inaugural Team Illinois Partner of the Year by the Illinois EDC recognizing the collaboration bringing this first-of-its-kind innovation campus to life.

Anchored by PsiQuantum and developed in partnership with Related Midwest, CRG, Clayco, and LJC, IQMP is bringing together leaders across the public, private, academic, and research communities around a shared vision for quantum innovation.

For Clayco, the impact extends well beyond construction. The project is creating opportunities for local businesses and craft professionals today while laying the foundation for future jobs, scientific discovery, and long-term investment on Chicago’s South Side.

Our 2026 Kids Dig event brought families together for a hands-on look at the world of construction. We welcomed 250 kids to get up close with construction equipment, explore the tools and technology behind our work, and experience what makes building so exciting.

More than a day of fun, Kids Dig is an opportunity to spark curiosity, introduce the next generation to the possibilities within our industry, and make an impact beyond the jobsite. Thanks to the incredible support of our community, this year’s event raised over $300,000!

Thank you to our volunteers, partners, families, and everyone who helped make this year’s event such a memorable one. We loved seeing so many future builders in action!

Habitat for Humanity Chicago’s Women Build brought hundreds of volunteers together in West Pullman to help create safe, affordable homeownership opportunities for Chicago families.

Women from across the city’s design, construction, and business communities rolled up their sleeves around a shared purpose, investing their time and talents to make a meaningful impact in the neighborhood.

The LJC + Clayco team was excited to be part of the effort, raising the most funds among participating teams and taking home the win in the hammer relay! The day also brought Women Build to WGN, helping shine a light on the work happening in West Pullman and the importance of continued investment in Chicago communities.
