Heads up, in case you were planning on doing an improvement to your property and we're denied due to local ordinances.
Use your own discretion and maybe consult a lawyer...
In 1984, the US supreme Court along with the department of natural resources defense committee put an act in place called the Chevron act. In a nutshell, this gave local authorities the ability to create ordinances and such within reason to federal laws.
As of June 28th 2024 in a decision 6-3 the US supreme Court overturned the Chevron act. Deeming many of the local ordinances are unconstitutional in regards to private landowners.
Result, any ordinance that was not signed off by a supreme Court Justice is null and void.
Do your research first and possibly a professional consult!
It's about time!
