This week's project is complete. Tear out an old wood burning fireplace and brick surround in this dining room and false post and beam. Patched the drywall back in, painted the entire room and laid new floors and new oak trim. The original flooring was no longer available, so the homeowner picked out something similar and we laid the entire dining room.

We've experienced a surge in remodeling projects over the last few months, and we're pleased to share some highlights with you. We recently completed a basement renovation project that presented distinct challenges due to low ceiling heights and the requirement of installing bulkheads around structural beams and ductwork. Despite these obstacles, the final result is visually appealing. To achieve energy efficiency, our team installed 1 inch foam board insulation on the concrete walls to create a thermal break, and then insulated the framed walls with R13 fiberglass insulation. We also had to cut out the floor in areas to install plumbing for a bathroom and laundry room area.
