Looking to purchase full-grown layer hens. I had 60 birds a few weeks ago, but a family of foxes got through before I finished installing my electric fence and took the flock down to 10 in a single night. My run and fencing — electric fence included — are now fully ready to keep a flock secure.
Since it's late in the season and I'd rather not wait nine months for new chicks to start laying, I'm looking to buy 10 laying hens ready to go.

Thank you once again, Steve from Davenport and Oneonta, Otego, Franklin customers/future friends.

PHD Home Services

Just wrapped up a 4-zone mini split installation right here in Davenport.

Big thanks to another great local customer for trusting PhD Home Services with their comfort. It's always a privilege to work with homeowners in our community.

Now here's the question for everyone else scrolling through this...

Summer is here. And it's not to late.

Last year, how many nights did you lie there thinking "we really need to do something about this"? How many afternoons did you retreat to the one room with a window unit that sounds like a lawnmower?

The question is whether this is the year you actually do something about it — or if you tell yourself "we'll just wait another year" again.

Here's what waiting gets you: another summer of dragging box fans around, another August where your upstairs is 10 degrees hotter than your downstairs.

A ductless mini split system gives you zone-by-zone control — cool the rooms you're in, not the ones you're not. Quiet. Efficient. And yes, they heat too.

When you're ready to stop thinking about it and start enjoying it — give us a call.

☀️ Summer is coming. And it's not going to ask if you're ready.

Last year, how many nights did you lie there thinking "we really need to do something about this"? How many afternoons did you retreat to the one room with a window unit that sounds like a lawnmower?

Another happy customer!
Doreen from Oneonta had a cracked heat exchanger — a safety issue you don't mess around with. We replaced her furnace with a brand new 96% efficient unit and she couldn't be happier.

Thank you for your trust, Doreen. That's what PhD Home Services is all about.

Now let me ask you something...
What's your plan when it hits 97° in July?

You know that moment — you walk inside, hit the thermostat, and... nothing. Or worse, it's blowing warm air.

Ask yourself:
🔹 Has your AC been serviced this year?
🔹 Is your system older than 15 years?
🔹 Are some rooms in your house always hotter than others?
🔹 Did you "survive" last summer instead of actually being comfortable?

If you answered yes to any of those — don't wait until you're sweating through your sheets in August.
Now is the time. Before the rush. Before the wait lists. Before that first brutal heat wave catches you off guard.

AC installs. Repairs. Tune-ups. We do it all.

📞 Give us a call at PhD Home Services and let's get you set up before summer hits.

Want To Say THANK YOU Oneonta and surrounding areas! 🙏
It's been a few months now and the support has been incredible. Every call means the world to my family and me.

I just wrapped up a great job in Laurens — new high-efficiency heating and hot water boiler install. (photos below) Love being able to show the before and after on these.

But here's the thing — warm weather is coming fast, and I'm already booking:

🔧 AC tune-ups & cleanings — get ahead of the heat before everyone's calling at once

❄️ Mini-split installations — efficient cooling AND heating, zone by zone. NYSERDA rebates can bring the cost way down.

🔄 System replacements — if your central air struggled last summer, let's talk before it dies on the hottest day of the year
I still do everything I've always done — plumbing, drains, heating, emergency calls. But if cooling is on your mind for this season, now is when to reach out not when it is already 90 degrees outside. LOL
