The process of getting your chimney inspected annually is an important one.

It ensures that there aren't any damages in the system, and that even if there is, it isn't too severe. This let's you have peace of mind about your fireplace, and us know if we need to do any repairs!

Additionally, it also allows us to sweep it out if need be, making sure your fireplace is clean and not building up creosote or any other debris!

Masonry chimneys, just like any other, are built to last for a long time.

However, that doesn't mean that problems can't occur, or that they can withstand anything!

This one, for example, was struck by lightning, and you can see that it's been damaged heavily! 🌩️
