This is Jamie, our junior team leader. Originally from MA, Jamie was a solo Journeyman who owned and operated his own business for 5 years before moving up to NH. So we look to him when discussing mechanical systems and troubleshooting pipes. Now he is honing his carpentry skills with the crew and working towards being CRC’s next team leader.

After hours you’ll find Jamie outside doing any and everything adventurous. He loves hanging out with his wife and sons and whether it’s snowboarding, dirt biking, 4-wheeling, surfing, golfing, drumming, or target practice - you name it - he’s having fun.

Concrete Masonry Units (CMUs) are incredibly strong in compression and can make a great foundation. Standard load-bearing blocks have a minimum compression strength of 2,000 PSI (pounds per sq. inch)!

For this project we are re-using an existing CMU foundation to build a new camp, reminiscent of the original 1945 cottage that once stood there, but with a new style and an additional story to fit a loft above the living spaces.

Since CMU is so strong, the extra weight from the added story is no concern, but the CMU needed some repairs and reinforcement before it was ready for our construction. So, we demoed the old chimney, filled in the gaps with new CMU, laid a new top course, filled the cracks, poured concrete in all the cores, and added vertical rebar. And after all that, the result was a solid foundation strong in compression and tension, ready for the build.

Small space, fresh perspective.

This townhouse kitchen went from dated and closed-in to bright, open, and timeless. New white cabinetry, sleek black hardware, and granite countertops completely refresh the style while keeping it functional and inviting.

The former dividing half wall was transformed into a peninsula, creating a much more connected feel between the kitchen and dining space.

The new peninsula does double duty, adding storage on the dining side, while housing the sink and dishwasher on the kitchen side.

A beautiful transformation designed with both style and everyday living in mind.

This is Steven, another carpenter on our crew. Before joining CRC he was working as a professional painter, so he’s our go-to guy for all things painting inside and out! He’s also a whiz at drywall mudding - always gets that smooth finish. Whether it’s a small touch-up, a 10 foot wall, or even a whole house, Steven’s skills shine and his steady hand gets the job done.

When he’s not working, Steven loves being at home with his family and spending time with his daughters. He also likes to draw and is always working on his next masterpiece.
