What started as a leaking skimmer turned into a full excavation job once we uncovered the real problem. 😅
Under this skimmer we found massive tree roots growing directly beneath the plumbing, putting pressure on the line and the skimmer body itself. On top of that, we uncovered evidence of a pretty sketchy “repair” someone attempted before us — patched up just enough to hide the problem, not fix it.
So we cut everything out, replaced the damaged skimmer properly, pressure tested the line, and cleaned the whole area up the right way.
This is exactly why leak repairs should be diagnosed before people start guessing underground. Temporary fixes usually become expensive fixes later.
If your pool is losing water, cracking around the skimmer, or constantly needing water added, it’s time to get it checked.

This week? That leaking zone is officially out of the equation. 💧🔧
Pop-up systems are great… until one cracked zone starts quietly dumping water underground while your autofill works overtime trying to keep up. We pressure tested the lines, isolated the problem area, and eliminated the leaking zone to stop the water loss without tearing up the whole pool.
