With some very frigid temperatures just around the corner, a couple of yearly reminders if you’ve dealt with frozen pipes in the past:

If you have a faucet or tub/shower located on an exterior wall, you may want to keep it at a trickle to keep water moving.

Also check to make sure all crawl space vents are
closed or somehow covered. A cold draft can enter through these and if plumbing pipes are close to them, it’s a freeze liability.

With the beautiful weather, more and more people are wanting to get back up north! I am here to help with anyone that is needing to get their cabins still opened for the upcoming season. I’m still limited with certain plumbing work due to my injury, but if you need a faucet replaced, outdoor spigot worked on, water heater changeout, or toilet serviced, feel free to give me a shout. 989-254-1594.

Quick update! I am back up and working with restrictions, hallelujah!! Doc still wants me avoiding ladders and probably should avoid installing toilets for the time being until I get more strength and balance back in my leg. However if you need a cabin turned on for the Spring, an outdoor faucet replaced, or servicing a faucet/toilet guts, then feel free to call!

Wanted to give everyone a heads up:

I recently had some unfortunate luck, and went down with an injury that is going to have me sidelined for an extended period of time. I’m hoping to be back up and walking by early April!

Unfortunately this means I cannot help this wonderful community with any plumbing problems until then, however I have made arrangements to still get cabins opened for this upcoming Spring season that is just around the corner, yay!!

Also wanted to take a second to thank everyone that has already reached out, and offered help or just prayers. It’s been very touching and appreciated, and just another shining example of how awesome a small community can be! Truly thank you everyone!

Hello all!

I have been on a few calls this week for people having no water. Unfortunately, most of them were due to frozen pipes. Mother Nature can be cruel for everything, including plumbing.

A tip for anyone to try, especially for plumbing fixtures that are located on exterior walls, is to keep a faucet at a trickle or very slow stream. This will keep the water circulating and help greatly decrease the chances of pipes freezing.

Hello all!

Probably should of been posting more throughout the season, but been busy and still learning the ropes of a new business adventure!
Anyway drainings have been steady and fast but always looking to add more to my schedule. Plenty of openings still so don’t be afraid to call or give my number out (989-254-1594).
After December 1st I do have a small upcharge for weather reasons with my hoses not liking the cold weather, but still out there doing what I enjoy.
Also wanted to take a second to thank everyone that has either called for business already or passed the number along. It truly is appreciated so so much!! Thank you all, and looking forward to continue to serve the Oscoda area!
