Two years of progress captured in photos at the Berrien Springs complex! One baseball field, four softball fields, and a soccer field—all built from the ground up by RZ Sports Turf.

One of our biggest projects, and one we’re proud to have brought to life.

Municipal fields often need to serve everyone from youth baseball players to adult softball and baseball teams, with different base distances for each group.

For this field, we converted the entire playing surface into one continuous infield. That gives teams flexibility to set it up for different ages and games while making maintenance simpler. There are no grass baselines to build up lips, no permanent mound to work around, and fewer edges to keep even.

Sometimes simpler is better.

Infield renovation complete at Re*****on Township Park! ⚾

We removed three inches of existing material, added one inch of quarter-dust limestone, and installed three inches of DuraEdge infield mix.

The old field held water and sloped toward the dugouts, washing infield mix into them. We rebuilt it on a conical grade so water moves evenly toward the edges, helping keep the field dry and ready for play.

Improving drainage across this baseball outfield by addressing several low spots. We installed five drains tied into a six-inch main line that daylights into the retention pond—helping move water off the field and get it back into play faster.
