Everyone craves more money. If I had more money life would be easier they say. You can chase the dollar every day. Yes I'm sure there's many people right now that, that extra dollar would make their day. You know what money can't buy? No matter how much you have ot it. You can't buy back time. Working in the trades. We put the customer first before everything. At the end of the day we do. We will stay that extra time to make the customer happy. You can do 100 jobs and have happy customers, being self employed all it takes is 1 or 2 unhappy ones that can drag your whole business down because this day and age noone has a single issue with dragging someone else through the mud and you can blast it all over within a few seconds. Those 1 or 2 people never think of the family that business who maybe opted to not stay late so they can make their kids birthday in time. We in the trades are the fastest to be written off because of one bad experience that circulates faster than we could keep up with. I have/still work those long days and weekends to keep this business going knowing what I have on the line. I've missed bedtimes, first days, memories I won't ever be apart of. You can chase the money you're entire life but you'll never get back the time you missed. Nothing can bring those times back again. Next time you're angry with someone you hired to do something for you, just remember most of us are making sacrifices to do the best we can to keep you happy.
