Anyone who knows us, knows how important this youth exchange has been to Jon and me. We took hundreds of Cape Cod kids to stay with host families and play in international basketball tournaments and now my son, Chet, is in charge. Spending ten days with a family in another country, learning about them and having them meet real Americans is the critical part of the trip. Basketball is just the vehicle we use to make connections. Each day the group visits cultural and historic sites. Some of the countries visited have been Finland, Estonia, Greece, Sweden, Denmark, France, England, Spain, Portugal and Belgium. It is even more important now with the state of the world that this exchange continues. In April, the Belgian team will be here on Cape Cod. Next April, we hope to bring our team over there. Please consider donating to this exceptional program.
