This horizontal collector well restores a critical groundwater source, adds more than 5 million gallons per day of water supply capacity, and helps support the community’s future growth. Big milestone for the Huntingburg WWTP! 💧
We’re proud to celebrate the successful startup of the Huntingburg Wastewater Treatment Plant — one of the largest systems of its kind in the Midwest.
Featuring an advanced new main pumping station, screening equipment, three SBR tanks, upgraded aeration systems, and UV disinfection technology. This facility is built for reliable, long-term performance.
This milestone represents innovation, teamwork, and investment in infrastructure that supports cleaner water and stronger communities.
A huge accomplishment made possible through the dedication and collaboration of our Reynolds team, our partners at Commonwealth Engineers, Inc., the City of Huntingburg, and everyone involved in bringing this project to life!

Aqua Pennsylvania is proud to announce the completion of a $35 million project to our Shenango Valley Water Treatment Plant in Sharon, Mercer County.

Key improvements include:
✅ New 700,000-gallon raw water basin
✅ Improved plant’s ability to treat naturally changing water conditions
✅ Modernized key infrastructure and updated electrical systems and controls to improve overall reliability

This investment strengthens infrastructure, improves water quality, and ensures long-term service dependability for the customers we serve.

Earlier this week, high school interns Dane Freed and Kaden Berning presented on their experience with the Reynolds team and shared what they’ve learned throughout their time with us.

From gaining hands-on experience to learning how projects come together behind the scenes, these interns jumped in ready to learn. We’re proud to invest in the next generation of industry professionals and thankful for the hard work, curiosity, and enthusiasm they brought to Reynolds.
