This April, American Society of Landscape Architects challenged all of us to show what Landscape Architecture in Action really looks like, not just in concept, but in the real world. As the month wraps, one thing is clear: the work that lasts is the work that performs. In hospitality, that means spaces that don’t just photograph well on opening day, but continue to drive guest experience, revenue, and flexibility over time.
At Zemi Beach Resort & Spa, the landscape wasn’t treated as an afterthought, it shaped the entire guest journey. Arrival, circulation, pool environments, and outdoor amenities were all designed to deliver immediate impact while quietly setting up the resort for long-term evolution.
That’s where the industry is heading, less about static design, more about systems that adapt, perform, and grow.
