Last week, we were honored to join the City of Port St. Lucie - City Hall, the Port St. Lucie Police Department, Mayor Shannon M. Martin, City of Port St. Lucie and other community leaders for the ribbon-cutting of the new Port St. Lucie Police Training Facility.

The 55,000-square-foot training center was designed to enhance officer training with modern technology and realistic learning environments. This facility reflects the City's commitment to investing in the safety of its residents and the professionals who serve them every day.

We're incredibly grateful to the City of Port St. Lucie, the Port St. Lucie Police Department, Architects Design Group, our trade partners, and everyone who helped bring this vision to life.

Congratulations to all involved on this exciting achievement. We look forward to seeing this facility serve the department and the community for years to come.

The City of Orlando - Government Southeast Community and Government Center is officially past the halfway mark. Over the last month, crews have focused on completing the roof and connecting critical utilities. In the coming weeks, glass installation and interior painting will begin, bringing the project one step closer to completion.

Once complete, this facility will serve as a community hub for Southeast Orlando and Lake Nona residents, providing public meeting spaces, community resources, and a regional Orlando Police Department substation. With both the exterior and interior coming together, the finished vision is becoming more visible every day.

This project site is also home to the new Orange County Library System Lake Nona branch currently under construction. Stay tuned for more updates as progress continues on both facilities.

A special thank you to our Safety Director, Cindy Spiropoulos, for the leadership and dedication she brings to every project. Because of her commitment to safety, our crews are able to work confidently and return home safely each day.

Two weeks ago, H. J. High celebrated the opening of the beautiful new, state-of-the-art Pet Alliance animal shelter.

This project holds a special place for our team. In 2021, the organization and community experienced a heartbreaking loss when the previous facility was destroyed by a devastating fire, and we were honored to stand alongside them in the journey forward.

In collaboration with Borrelli + Partners, our team delivered the largest animal medical shelter in Florida, expanding the ability to rescue, treat, and rehome animals in need. The Pet Alliance is truly deserving of a space like this, and we’re grateful to have played a role in bringing it to life. We also want to thank the community and the generous donors who helped make this vision a reality.

H. J. High is proud to have been part of a project that will give so many animals a second chance.
