Today, the Rhodes+Brito Architects team came together to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month and honor history, cultures, and contributions of Hispanic and Latino communities. As the month comes to a close, we filled our space with flavors of traditional dishes made by our own team members. Shared personal stories, swayed to vibrant music, and simply enjoyed one another's company. As a culturally diverse firm, we know that our different backgrounds shape the way we think, create, and design. Days like this remind us how much richer our work and our community become when we celebrate every culture that makes us who we are.

What a night celebrating the newest installation inside the Atrium at Kia Center! It was an honor to meet Joe Schott, President of Walt Disney World Resort, and Mayor Buddy Dyer. Both are truly incredible leaders, and we're grateful for their vision and support.
The celebration got even better with the talented Eric Tan on hand, signing his outstanding numbered lithographs. Rhodes+Brito was proud to build and install the casing for the projection. Thank you to everyone who helped make this moment so special. We can't wait for guests to experience the magic!

2026 Red, Black and Boundless Gala. In 1967, Valencia College opened its doors with a bold promise: education should be within reach for everyone with the courage to pursue it. The 2026 Red, Black and Boundless Gala celebrates that legacy and the future it continues to build. Rhodes+Brito's continued support of the Valencia College Foundation goes far beyond sponsorship. It opens doors, eases burdens, and helps students turn their dreams into degrees, careers, and brighter tomorrows. Every gift is an investment in hope, and in the belief that each student deserves the chance to rise. Here's to a boundless future for our students and the community we proudly serve.

Did you know that in Florida, High Schoolers and Middle Schoolers have to learn CPR? It's a State mandate, and of course they didn't fund the training kits. Thank goodness, http://facebook.com/AmericanHeart and Rhodes+Brito provided a kit to train students in this valuable, life-saving skill at Howard Middle School. We presented the kit to HMS Principal Dr. W. John McHale. Principal, this morning! http://facebook.com/AmericanHeart

Happy 250th Birthday, America!
Two and a half centuries of dreams, grit, and beautiful possibility. We can't help but think back to 1776, when families arrived on these shores with little more than hope in their hearts and courage in their steps. They brought their cultures, crafts, and their determination, together they built neighborhoods, cities, and a nation that still stands strong today.

At Rhodes+Brito Architects, that spirit lives in everything we design. Every building starts with a dream and the belief that when people come together, they can create something lasting, beautiful and communities that make America shine.

Today, we celebrate Juneteenth—a powerful reminder of freedom, resilience, and the enduring spirit of the Black community. As a Black-owned architecture firm, we honor this day by reflecting on the brilliance of the Black architects and designers who came before us, shaping skylines and building legacies against every odd. Their vision lives on in every space we create, every blueprint we draw, and every community we serve.

Did you know that planting just one tree can make a massive difference for our local ecosystem? 🌳
We spent this week getting our hands dirty for a great cause! Our very own Adrienne Craddock, along with her son and daughter, grabbed their shovels to plant two beautiful Pink Tabebuia trees at Columbia Elementary School.
These gorgeous flowering trees—generously donated by Lukas Nursery—will grow to provide shade, fresh oxygen, and a brilliant pop of pink color for the students to enjoy.
To bring this project to life, Rhodes+Brito Architects teamed up with the amazing student leaders of the campus K-Kids Club. Together, we learned exactly how to care for new saplings and why urban forestry matters so much. What better way to celebrate Earth Day and Arbor Day than by growing a greener future together? 🌎🌸
