When Publix puts something on BOGO, it’s hard not to give it a try! 😆
Since my guy is a serious pizza lover, we picked up both of the new Tombstone French Fry Style Crust pizzas — the Loaded Bacon Cheddar and Garlic Parm varieties.
First impression? The concept sounded amazing. A pizza with a French fry crust? Count us in! 🍟🍕
After baking, we noticed both pizzas were done about 5 minutes sooner than the box directions suggested, so keep an eye on them if you decide to try one.
As for the crust, we were expecting a crispy outside with a softer inside like the packaging describes. Instead, most of the crust was soft throughout, with only the very edges getting crispy.
Flavor-wise, neither pizza really stood out. The toppings were okay, but the overall taste didn’t live up to the hype for us.

* Fun concept
* Easy weeknight meal
* Cooked faster than expected
* Crust texture wasn’t what we anticipated
* Flavor was just average
Would we buy them again? Probably not.
