I&E Construction had a great time at two standout events with the North Gulf Coast Chapter CAI, from connecting with industry professionals at the Education Expo to swapping hard hats for cowboy hats at a Wild West-themed golf tournament.

There are team-building events, and then there are moments that remind you why great partnerships matter.

I&E was honored to be part of the 2026 Leland Team Building Day. While many events can feel fast-paced, with only a few moments to connect, this one was different.

A rooftop exhibit, a luau by the beach, plenty of laughs, and, most importantly, the opportunity to spend time with the people behind the partnership.

The entire event was a great reflection of the value Leland Management places on relationships that go beyond the day-to-day. We’re proud to work alongside a team that understands that strong business partnerships are built on trust, connection, and genuine relationships.

The finished product gets the attention. The work it takes to get there is worth seeing, too.

At Bouchelle Island in New Smyrna Beach, FL, our team is carrying out a large-scale balcony stack repair project within an occupied waterfront condominium community.
With residents, property operations, and multiple phases of work happening at once, each stage calls for careful coordination and the flexibility to adjust as conditions change.

Progress isn’t measured only by what you can see. It’s also in how well all the moving pieces come together along the way.

Strong partnerships are built long before a project begins.

Last week was a great reminder of the value of investing in relationships. Between two exceptional industry events, we had the opportunity to connect with Community Association Managers, Board Members, and fellow industry professionals, strengthening existing partnerships while building new ones.

At Magnolia Park Quad, our team recently completed a comprehensive exterior restoration across 53 residential buildings, including full second-story recladding with Hardie® fiber cement siding, installation of new hurricane bolts, architectural accent enhancements, and a refreshed color palette throughout the community.

Restoration at this scale requires more than replacing what was there before.

At Nona Preserve, our team is executing a complex, multi-phase restoration across 21 residential buildings, including complete roof replacements, extended roof truss installations, structural framing repairs, and second-story window replacement and stucco restoration.

These aren't cosmetic improvements. They're critical upgrades designed to strengthen the long-term performance, safety, and durability of the community.

With roofing now complete and stucco work continuing across the site, another key milestone has been achieved.

I&E Construction FL joined fellow industry professionals on the hurricane preparedness panel at the Northeast Florida Chapter CAI May luncheon.

General Manager Vasily Shadrin shared insights on storm preparedness from an active construction perspective, including strategies for securing jobsites, protecting ongoing projects, and planning for potential weather impacts before a storm arrives. For communities with capital improvement projects underway, preparation and communication play a critical role in reducing risk and helping projects stay on track.

With association managers, board members, and homeowner leaders in attendance, the discussion focused on practical steps communities can take to strengthen preparedness efforts ahead of hurricane season.
