A fireplace designed to feel like a piece of nature.

This 130-inch fireplace is coming to life with Mocca Rocha Leather Granite — a dramatic black natural stone with soft white veining and warm, earthy accents.

Its leathered finish brings out the natural texture of the granite, creating the feeling of a mountain rock formation right inside the home.

This is only the intermediate stage of the installation. The most challenging part is still ahead — installing the large slab across the upper section of the fireplace.

Stay tuned for the final transformation. ✨

When I’m out doing measurements, I get to visit all kinds of different places throughout Central Florida.

A few days ago, I was driving through a community in the evening and came across a huge number of deer. They looked absolutely beautiful in the sunset, during that magical golden hour. 🦌✨

And just as I was driving past them, I suddenly spotted a bear walking not far away from the deer! 🐻

You’ll be able to see him if you watch the video all the way to the end.

I was, of course, absolutely amazed. It’s incredible how diverse Florida’s wildlife is, and how animals can live so close to people and residential communities.

That’s what makes my job so interesting! I’m not only helping people create beautiful kitchens and bathrooms and install gorgeous stone countertops — I also get to experience the beauty of nature around me almost every single day.

And honestly, that’s one of the most wonderful parts of my job. 🌿. FloridaDeer FloridaBear NatureLovers WildlifeEncounter CentralFloridaLife OrlandoLife OrlandoFlorida FloridaLiving HomeDesign KitchenDesign Countertops StoneCountertops InteriorDesign Edstone EdstoneInc

Over the years, we sometimes stop noticing how familiar and dated our kitchen has become. But giving it a fresh new look doesn’t always mean replacing everything.

If your cabinets are still in good condition, a beautiful new countertop may be all your kitchen needs. Last week, Edstone installed this light quartz with soft veining—and the entire space immediately felt brighter, fresher, and more inviting.

Now it’s the kind of kitchen where you want to start the morning with a cup of coffee or make breakfast for the whole family. ☕️
