👀 Here's the closer look on yesterday's post... through bolts in a small Red Bud that was splitting in the middle!

🔩 These rods will hold the tree together and act as a "stitch" to aid in support. In larger trees, through bolts are often paired with a steel cabling system, but that was not necessary here based on the size of the tree.

⚠️ It's important to understand that this is not a permanent solution, but that it does support the tree and reduce the risk of further splitting or having a limb tear out.
