Sometimes as a service business customers are frustrated when our prices go up. Sincerely, we’d be happy to leave them where they are at, if the rest of the world would leave theirs where they’re at. But they don’t. Eventually we are forced to raise our cost or go out of business. Here’s an example. These two tools. Look at the size. One was $9.97 and the other was $10.97. They are 4” tools. Not too long ago I could buy regular standard size tools in those styles for that money. It’s the hidden cost of inflation that is eating us all alive. When we vote in reckless spending politicians who spend money like drunken sailers and we do it decade after decade after decade and have a 38 TRILLION debt load we are on the path to annihilation as a nation. When we drop the gold backing of our currency and use strictly fiat paper money, and allow an oligarchy of bankers to create money out of thin air and loan it to our government at interest in a huge Ponzi scheme, we are doomed. At some point you are not going to be able to afford my company, and I’m not going to be able to afford the companies I buy parts and supplies from, and they can’t afford who they get it from, and so on down the line. The system collapses in on itself and a reign of chaos and terror ensues and we walk out of the rubble into another dark age. At this point there is no fixing it. We simply buckle our seat belts and ride the tower of terror.
