Rylie was getting after it today at a fab shop in Orem! 💪❄️

This system was PLUGGED UP! 😳 He had to tear out the AC coil AND pull the blower motor just to get everything properly cleaned and get the airflow back where it needs to be.

This is exactly why running your HVAC system with a clean filter is so important. Without a filter, all that dust, dirt, metal debris, and shop grime gets sucked straight into the system. Eventually it packs the coil and blower, kills airflow, makes the system work harder, and can turn a simple filter change into a major cleaning job like this one.

A $10–$20 filter can save you from a much bigger repair bill down the road! 👊

The boys are back at it today! 🔥❄️

Knocking out a Senville mini-split retrofit for one of our good contractors. These retrofit jobs can definitely take a little creativity to make everything come together clean, but the boys absolutely killed it on this one! 💪

🏗️ NEW PROJECT KICKING OFF IN SARATOGA SPRINGS! 🔥

The Cutting Edge crew hit the ground running today on a new commercial project in Saratoga Springs!

We’ll be setting 4 rooftop units (RTUs) on this building and handling the full HVAC build-out for one of the dental offices going in here. 💪
Today the guys got started setting the roof curbs, laying everything out, and getting them ready to be dried in.

Just the beginning on this one we’ll keep you guys updated as it comes together! 👊

🔥 CUSTOMER-SUPPLIED EQUIPMENT? NO PROBLEM! 🔥

Yesterday the Cutting Edge crew knocked out TWO complete HVAC systems in Eagle Mountain! 💪❄️

The customer originally called us asking if we could just come out, braze in and vacuum down two customer-supplied systems. After chatting with him about the project, he decided to have us handle the entire install instead.

The boys showed up around 10 AM and got straight to work installing:
❄️ 2 condensers
🔥 2 furnaces
💨 2 indoor coils
By 5 PM, BOTH systems were installed, fired up, and cooling! 🙌

These guys had been without AC for 10 DAYS, so to say they were stoked to finally have a cool house again is an understatement!
We don't care if you buy the equipment from us or already have it sitting in your garage we're here to help get the job done right.

We got a call around 9PM Monday night from a customer whose AC was DONE. Their house was sitting at nearly 90° inside, and they had already been hit with some CRAZY replacement quotes from the big-box HVAC companies. 😳💸

Luckily, they were referred to Cutting Edge HVAC LLC and gave us a call!

We headed straight over with a portable cooler to get them through the night, looked everything over, and gave them a price that was WAY better than what the big guys were throwing at them.
This morning our crew got straight to work! 💪

🚨 ALWAYS GET A SECOND OPINION! 🚨

Around 3 o’clock today, I got a call from a customer with a rental property that wasn’t cooling. She had already had another HVAC company out, and they diagnosed the system with a bad compressor.

Before moving forward with an expensive repair or replacement, she decided to get a second opinion and gave Cutting Edge HVAC LLC a call. 💪

I got there around 6 PM and found the compressor locked out because it had overheated. After digging into the system, we found the real problem…

👉 The outdoor coil was completely plugged with dirt and debris, causing the unit to overheat and shut itself down.

We pulled the cage off, gave that coil a much-needed cleaning, got everything back together, and fired it up.

❄️ SYSTEM IS UP AND RUNNING GREAT! ❄️
No compressor replacement. No new system. Just a proper diagnosis and a little elbow grease.

We saved this customer a TON of money and a major headache.

Moral of the story: Always get a second opinion before spending thousands of dollars. And sometimes, calling the local mom-and-pop company first can save you a whole lot of trouble. 😉
