nVent TRACHTE e-houses are available with extra security features like exterior wall ballistics protection (up to UL Level 8). Ballistics-protected buildings feature the same dimensions, appearance, and structural properties as a standard e-house.

From floors to ceilings, our ballistic-rated, bullet-resistant enclosures ensure protection against a range of weaponry, from small handguns to automatic assault weapons with armor-piercing capabilities. nVent’s ballistic-rated enclosures are factory-built, rigorously tested, and precisely assembled before delivery, ensuring the utmost reliability.

Back to Basics: How Does a Data Center Work?

Data centers are the backbone of our digital world. Behind every click, stream, and search is a data center. But these facilities are not just rooms full of servers, they’re engineered ecosystems:

✅ Servers store and process massive amounts of data
✅ Networking gear moves information at lightning speed
✅ Cooling systems prevent overheating
✅ Power infrastructure ensures uninterrupted uptime even during outages

to 2003 when Trachte provided the first of 150 buildings for Duke Energy, Wisconsin Public Service, and National Grid for relay and protection control at their substations.

That same year, Trachte provided the first of 50 large two-piece split buildings to telecommunication carriers including Nextel, Sprint, and AT&T. These buildings were installed as central switch stations where multiple cellular sites are linked together throughout Illinois and Michigan.

We're lucky to have long-standing partnerships with our customers which allows us to draw on our application expertise when working on new projects.
