Take this project out in Daggett, Michigan for example: located in the upper peninsula of Michigan, this site wasn’t close to anything. (We mean it!)

Getting this build across the finish line meant a long vetting process for subcontractors, travel logistics going to and from the build site during some of the harshest weather and temperatures, and just about every single complication that can arise when you’re building on rural land.

But we did it, and we did it enthusiastically, because it shouldn’t matter where your dream build is located; what matters is getting the job done.

We couldn’t be more proud of our team for taking on this project—we hope you love it, too!

This custom winery could not be any more autumn-coded! 🍁

Located in Benton City, Washington, this winery came with unique challenges due to the strict regulations of winery construction. Every detail, from the tasting room to the complex, multi-level HVAC system, was customized to meet industry standards and reflect the vision of our client.

The final design includes cedar board and batten siding on the exterior, and is complemented by a 12′ x 40′ deck with galvanized railing for enjoying panoramic vineyard views. Inside, a stunning glass-enclosed tasting room anchors the winery’s distinctive, elevated aesthetic.

Five years from now, we’ll still be talking about this home.

Not because it’s the biggest home we’ve ever built, but because it’s exactly right: right for the clients, right for their family, and right for fulfilling their exact vision.

This 4,500 sq. ft. timber frame project in Boring, Oregon is a three-bedroom, three-bathroom home complete with a 700 sq. ft. two-car garage, wide-open living space, private office, gym, 10’ x 32’ deck, and a 600 sq. ft. covered patio space for year-round outdoor living.

Modeled after the Oakridge kit from DC Structures, this garage home is a great example of a classic barn-style design done right!

Complete with thoughtful customizations to complement its lakeside setting, we worked closely with DC Structures to deliver this turn-key post & beam home we’re so proud of.

We led framing, contracting, and interior design while DCS handled the pre-engineered design and materials package.

We couldn’t have done it without our design-build partnership with DCS. With the power of both companies working on a single project, our clients work with the same project coordinator from start to finish, and see less back and forth between companies during every phase of the build.

What happens when a lumber company like Patrick Lumber Company builds their own headquarters? Well, the obvious answer is to design a gorgeous 6,300 sq. ft. structure that fully embodies the diversity and quality of their products, of course!

Using no. 1 grade Doug Fir timbers supplied by their own company, we crafted a structure with both traditional and decorative timber frame joinery to accentuate their gorgeous timbers.

Meet the Teháma Carmel Equestrian Center: Our team designed, framed, and sided all four structures on this unmatched 2,000 acre equestrian estate!

01 - Horse barn with living quarters • 2,941 sq. ft. horse barn with 1,088 sq. ft. apartment upstairs
02 - Nearly 13,000 sq. ft. indoor riding arena
03 - Heavy timber loft barn • 3,500 sq. ft.
04. Storage barn • 1,056 sq. ft.

Four buildings with one design language to keep the entire facility visually cohesive.

Each structure started from a pre-engineered kit from our sister company DC Structures, then was modified, customized, and built by our crews into the gorgeous set of structures you see here.
