🏘️It's not very often we get to build a fully 800sqft ADU in the city of Portland... but here... we did it TWICE!!✌️ We're in N Portland at our DOUBLE ADU project; a 1600sqft building that is actually 2 ADUs back to back. One unit has a front door facing the street & the other unit has a front door facing the back of the lot. Both ADUs are 2 bed/1.5 bath with an open greatroom layout on the main floor. 2 homes, 1 footprint & twice the opportunity to help more people put down roots in the city they love💚

Designed for multigenerational living and aging in place, this custom ADU allows a longtime Portland family to stay close together while creating a home that can adapt to changing needs over time.

Inspired by our Montgomery Model, this 543sqft ADU features a 14' × 40' footprint with a modern shed roof design and vaulted ceilings reaching 10' at their tallest point. Thoughtful modifications expanded the bedroom and bathroom footprint, creating a layout focused on comfort, accessibility & ease of movement.

Beth & Annie… what a joy these two were to work with💚

After spending years living across the country from one another, they made the decision to become neighbors again… and create a new season of life closer together🙏 We had the privilege of working with Annie to design a custom ADU that fit her lifestyle beautifully while blending naturally onto Beth’s property🏘️

We had so much fun with them as they reflected on how the building journey came together, what the design process was like & what it’s meant to live near family again after years apart.

We’re so proud of the ADU we built, but the most rewarding part of this project has been helping bring this family back together🥹

Happy 1 Year StoneCreekiversary, Seth!! 🎉
It's honestly hard to believe it's only been one year... because Seth has become such a huge part of our team!!

If you know Seth, you know his follow up speed is basically lightning fast ⚡️ He is always on it, always making sure nobody falls through the cracks & always genuinely caring about the people on the other end of every conversation💚

From sales to client communication to keeping everything moving behind the scenes, he has made life better for our whole team and for every client he touches🙏

Outside of work, Seth is an awesome girl dad, a huge basketball guy & he brings that same team mentality, steady energy & loyalty into everything he does🙌

We are so lucky to have you, Seth. Thank you for everything you brought this first year and we cannot wait to see what's ahead... BIG DAWG🐶

Happy Stonecreekiversary, Chris! 🎉

Three years with this one and we honestly cannot imagine Stone Creek without him💚

Chris is the kind of person you just trust immediately. He shows up every single day with a steady presence, a sharp eye, and a genuine care for the work that is impossible to fake. As our Assistant Project Manager, he catches the things most people would miss and takes real pride in making sure every home and ADU we build is done the right way. Our clients feel that, and they love him for it.

But more than any of that, Chris is just a really good human. A proud girl dad with a big heart who always shows up when it counts, not just for the work, but for the people around him. That means everything to us.

We are so grateful you are part of the Stone Creek family. Here's to you, Chris! ❤️

🌷This spring, Home Building Foundation-HomeAid Portland began restoring two 100-year-old homes in Portland that will soon provide transitional housing for families working toward stable, permanent housing🙌

We’re so proud of our very own Mark Beirwagen serving as Builder Captain on a project that is about far more than construction...

Once complete, the Grace Houses Project will create space for up to six families at a time and expand Family Promise Metro East Portland’s housing capacity by 40%‼️

We love this mission... take houses that have been waiting for new life… and use them to help people begin again💚 It’s about dignity, safety & helping bring families home🏡

Oh Jakey poo… what would we do without you? 💚
Happy StoneCreekiversary, Jake! 🥳

Jake Ray is our Production Manager for Shelter Solutions, and if there’s one thing we know, he builds a solid project and always finishes strong. If he’s not on a job site, there’s a good chance he’s out finding four leaf clovers like it’s his second full-time job 🍀 (seriously… he finds them all the time).

He may still have that signature “don’t mess with me” look (you know the one 😄), but underneath it is someone who cares deeply, about the work, the team & doing things the right way.

What we respect most about Jake is who he’s shown himself to be over time. Growth, humility, and a willingness to keep getting better, not just saying it, but living it. That kind of character doesn’t go unnoticed.

He’s the kind of guy who will pick up a broom and clean the job site himself. No ego, no shortcuts, just pride in the work and leading by example.

And of course… the dogs still know what’s up 🐶 If Jake’s in the office, they’re right there waiting for his love.

At home, he’s an amazing husband and dad to his girls, and in just a few days, he’ll be welcoming a baby boy to the crew 💙

Jake, we’re really glad you’re part of this team. It’s been a journey, and we’re better because of it.
