An emergency water-loss call was received at approximately 7:07 PM from the renter of the property, who reported that water was actively coming through the kitchen ceiling. Upon returning home, the renter discovered that the cold-water supply line serving the washing machine had failed, resulting in a significant release of water and subsequent flooding throughout portions of the residence. The water supply was shut off immediately, and the renter began initial cleanup efforts. The renter advised that she had attempted to contact the property management company for emergency assistance but had not received a response. Due to the immediate need to address the active water-loss conditions and prevent further damage, she requested that Restoration Techs respond to assess the situation and provide temporary stabilization until authorization and further instructions could be obtained from the property owner or management company. Our technicians arrived within approximately one hour of receiving the emergency call.
