The original deck had a redwood frame built over 40 years ago with 20-year-old Trex composite decking and railing. Time had taken its toll.

A curious family of black bears tore into this old railroad tie retaining wall in search of a snack, exposing just how aged and deteriorated it had become. We removed the damaged section and rebuilt it using pressure-treated 6x8s, custom cut to match the original height. Now it’s fresh and clean.

We just wrapped up this 16’ x 20’ pressure-treated wood deck, featuring Wolf PVC traditional railing with sleek black round aluminum balusters for a clean and modern look. The project also includes 6’ wide stairs leading to a 6’ x 6’ landing, creating the perfect transition to the backyard!
