We loved being able to work with the Blount County Co-Op on their project. We were able to supply them with a used Generac Diesel Generator Package to provide power to their Drone Crop Spraying Rig. They are always at remote locations with no power hookup, so they have to bring the power with them. We helped work out a couple bugs today on site and got to see the whole unit in action. This right here is why we go through everything when performing a Start Up at a new farm, and even do these type checks on our yearly services. This was a new transfer switch at a new farm that was about to go into service next week. One of the generator power cables had a loose lug. The cable itself was tight in lug, but the lug was loose going into the breaker. This was tore down and corrected before it went into service and started causing major problems down the road.

We were able to save another generator this week. This unit had a failed control panel that was no longer produced or able to be repaired. The customer currently had birds in his houses and needed his generator repaired immediately. This Panelsource kit with the Deep Sea controller always works perfectly, is a clean install, and is very reliable.

We got an emergency call this morning on a generator at a poultry farm that failed its weekly transfer test. After troubleshooting the issues, it was found that the lever on the breaker itself was broken off due to the cold weather/years of use. We were able to reinforce and repair the breaker handle to get the customer through the weekend until their birds are gone and we can correctly repair this switch. Sometimes you have to make something happen when your customer is in a bind.

Today we were able to go out to a North Alabama poultry farm and perform a retrofit on their old transfer switch. The old controller (ATC-200) was obsolete and was no longer working like it should. We were able to remove the old controller/wiring harness, and install an upgraded controller and tie it in seamlessly. Being able to perform this retrofit was able to save this farmer a substantial amount of money. This repair totaled out at less than 20% of the cost of purchasing a new replacement transfer switch.

We were able to give another great family peace of mind during storms and power outages last week.
