If you planted trees this spring, now is the time to start a consistent watering schedule so they can settle in and thrive.

Young trees don’t have deep roots yet, which means they rely on you for regular, deep drinks and not just quick sprinkles.

Aim for slow, thorough watering at the base of the tree a few times a week, letting the water soak in deeply rather than running off. Adjust based on rain and heat, but don’t skip just because the top of the soil looks damp.
