Business Development Meets Building Development 👷‍♀️

Yesterday, Lisa Schiele, our BD & Marketing Manager, traded her desk for a hard hat to join Habitat for Humanity of Omaha's 2026 Women Build, hosted by Omaha’s First Lady, Viv Ewing!

What an incredible day rolling up our sleeves and collaborating with some wonderful women who are just as passionate as we are about improving our community. Women Build is more than just a day on the jobsite. It shows how much women can achieve in construction and what we can accomplish together. Each board and wall brings an Omaha family closer to having a home.

Thank you to Habitat for Humanity of Omaha, Viv & John W. Ewing, and everyone who helped make this day possible!

At Lueder, making a positive impact is at the center of what we do. Days like this show what that means, and we are honored to help build a better future for families in our community 🔨🩵🏠

Once A Wildcat... Always A Builder 🏗️

After spending time at Wayne State's Industrial Technology Career Fair, we wanted to spotlight one of our own Wildcats and show where a Wayne State education can lead. Brian Taute went from his days on campus in Wayne to serving as a Project Manager at Lueder, where he helped lead projects such as H+H Kia, his favorite to date. What made it stand out? The team. From subcontractors and our internal crew to the owner and architect, everyone worked toward the same goal. Brian also had the opportunity to be part of one of the first teams to build from Kia’s new DID design.

For Brian, Lueder has been a good fit because doing the right thing matters here and people have a real voice in the company’s success. And to the students figuring out what comes after graduation, Brian’s advice is worth keeping in mind:

“Keep an open mind about all the options that are available and don’t assume you have to do one specific thing after you graduate. As long as you work hard and always do the right thing, there will be many opportunities.”

From a Wayne State student to helping lead some pretty impressive projects, we’re proud to have Brian on . Here’s to the next generation of Wildcats finding where their own path can take them 💛🐯🖤

Lueder Construction has been hard at work transforming the former third floor of Modus into the new home of the Federal Public Defenders. We’re excited to see the space take on a new purpose and can’t wait to see the finished transformation! 🏗️ 🔨

Viva Las Bridget 💍

We traded payroll for party mode over lunch to surprise our very own Bridget Kult (soon-to-be Krivanek) with a Lueder bridal shower! A few games, plenty of snacks, and a whole lot of laughs made for a pretty great send-off before she heads to fabulous Las Vegas.

The Adventure Is Officially Open 👀

After years of planning, designing, and building, the MidAmerican Energy Adventure Tower & Borman Family Treetop Walk at River’s Edge are officially open to the public. Rising 138 feet above the riverfront, the Adventure Tower gives visitors a completely new way to experience Council Bluffs, from climbing and simulated caving to the roll glide and treetop views overlooking the Missouri River. It’s the kind of project we’re proud to help build, one that gets people outside, trying something new and seeing their community from a whole different perspective!

A big thank you to Sydney Babb & 6 News WOWT for joining the opening-day excitement and sharing the story behind this one. We also appreciate Mayor Shudak & the City of Council Bluffs for helping carry the long-term River’s Edge vision forward as the riverfront continues to grow into a destination for friends, families, and visitors throughout the metro.

And can't forget: a special, happy, belated 30th birthday to Brogan of Approach. Having the tower finally open to the public one day before his 30th? That’s a pretty great way to spend a birthday weekend. We’ll see you at the top 🌳🧗🎂
