City wide tree give away 💚make your community great💚
Shout out to Great Plains Nursery for showing up on a saturday with MONSTER HEART & ENERGY VIBES, Hughes Tree Service for donating 125bags of mulch for our gretna community, Rooted Tree Specialists for sacrificing hours & volunteering, Weedy Woman Landscaping for her hours doing digtial marketing, and our local city for providing funds for donation to supply 125 homes with trees for our local community.
Its a great day!

When you see mushrooms on your tree....it does NOT mean "oh hey...CUTE". I know. We want to think that. Because they are CUTE.

Meet Kolten: Kolten is our resident know-all about electricity, utilities & powerlines. He can help explain what trees we can and cannot touch in and around any line. And no, it's not always that easy to differentiate other than STAY AWAY. With his Utility Line Technician degree, and with his Electrical Hazardous Arborist training, this guy can point you out any concerns you may have about your trees & future power-line problems. Also of note....he loves being outdoors, fishing, camping & hiking. Ask him where to catch the biggest fish & you're sure to get good stories!

When's the last time you actually went out and looked up at your tree? Come on....be truthful now.... let's hear you say it........."umm...ages?"
M'kay. Yeah. See. Here's the problem. While you're runnin' around trying to survive life, your tree died. Finito. Fin. And it's going to cost you soooo much more when it fails & breaks through your house. Do us a favor. Please. Go outside. Look up. Hug your trees. And then call *us* to hug your trees. And then, yes, help them. Before they fight back! 😬🌳

No wind does not mean trees still cant fail.
This tree was pruned improperly (lions-tailed) causing massive branch failure.
Quick tree emergency action with a little 1, 2, 3 spot rigging & the house was saved from further damage.
Grateful for a full certified arborist crew with lots of experience!

Oak trees have a season, just like pumpkin spice — except missing this one is a lot more expensive.

Oaks can only be safely pruned in fall and winter. Prune them the rest of the year and you're rolling the dice on oak wilt, a disease that can kill a mature tree fast. Once the window closes, it's closed until next fall.
