Last time at this project site was when the windows had just arrived on-site, and now they've all been installed. The primary shell of its structuring has been completed. What had previously been a fairly common split entry house on a nice street will become a masterpiece of modern living. 👏

Shoring up a very tall 2x4 wood stud framed wall that overlooks a lake on one side and the home overlooks the Platte River on the opposite end. The process enabled our crew on-site to readily revise the existing framing to meet code with a much-thicker framed wall, yet allowed several existing upper windows to remain while the lower windows were re-configured & added to allow for structural load path. It was an iterative process to find the right mix of new & old that worked well for engineering and the budget involved.

Some interesting places witnessed today in a variety of context with engineered work, traveling betwist five counties today in eastern Nebraska. Started the day, even, with a flat-tired automobile. Dauntless, our team perseveres. 🫡

Our entire E3 team will find a new avenue, and a new way; because, typically, we can not be stopped for long. Oh, and a new set of performance tires do make a world of difference. And, we do our best to not forget to include a smile with a never-ending positive, "can-do" attitude and mindfulness, too. No stone unturned. 👏👏

Always enjoy evaluating vintage structures. This time it was for a wartime residence at a farmstead built in Ponca Hills just north of Omaha, Nebraska. A roadside cemetery originated in 1861 -- directly beside the property -- a historic pioneer graveyard. We never know what we will find, history surrounds us when we look around ~ 🪦🌾
