We are attic ventilation specialists!
Improper attic ventilation not only heats up the house in the summer, but also creates interior condensation and mold, along with exterior ice damns during the winter season! Three very costly and dangerous situations.

To avoid this, proper air flow in and out of the attic must be maintained continuously.

Areas to check include having the proper number of roof vents along with proper number of soffit vents. If your home is like most, the soffit vents have been painted over several times and dust is built up on the screen. Most of these are only 10% effective in allowing air to get in. This drastically affects the upward air flow which in turn causes these three major problems: exterior ice damns, interior condensation, and extensive interior mold.
