So a couple weeks ago I got done with this cool mid century modern set of bookcases. They are huge. The total size is 12 foot 5 inches tall by 18 foot wide by 14 inches deep. During the design stage of this project my clients told me they wanted the whole bookshelf to float 6 inches off of the ground. Have open sides and pronounced cabinet sides that came out further then the cabinets and the shelves. They wanted 2 rollouts behind each set of solid doors, then rattan or kane webbing in the framed doors. they also wanted a 10 foot 10 inch rollong library ladder. this was quite the project figuring out how all of this would work together, but i do enjoy the challenge of figuring out something like this and making their vision come to life. I have to say after this whole thing was installed, it looks very light and airy and isn’t imposing on the space. these pictures are from my client, all of the shelves are in, and some books and decorations on the shelves. This still has to be stained and finished, but after its fully done ill get some good pictures and videos on here i will also upload a couple videos of the bookcases from when I was installing them. But those will be a different post as I can't upload pictures videos together.

Ok so now that the last wedding of the year happend today, i can now post the wedding gifts that I make for my nieces and nephews. So far I have made 6 memory boxes and with my daughter i will have 6 more to make. I create a unique design for each one so no one has the same thing. I sign each one with my stamp so they remember where it came from. Here are pictures of each one that I have made so far in the order I made them. I wonder what designs I will come up with in the future..

Monday I got this nice build in project done and installed. First project where my new shop neighbors did the finish work. Thats pretty convenient to have them right next door. And they do good work too. This fit perfectly and probably one of the smoothest installs i have done. This new piece created a bunch of new storage space for them. They were very pleased here are a few pictures
