🌿 June is right around the corner, and your landscape is about to shift into a new phase of the growing season.
This is a great time to keep an eye on a few things:
🐞 Japanese Beetles – They typically begin appearing in June and can quickly damage roses, ornamental trees, and other landscape favorites.
🪲 June Bugs – While mostly a nuisance, they can be a sign of grubs developing beneath the lawn.
🍃 New Growth Stress – Trees and shrubs are putting on a lot of growth right now. Watch for wilting, discoloration, or signs that newly planted materials need additional water.
🌱 Weeds – They love warm temperatures just as much as your landscape does. Staying ahead of them now is easier than catching up later.
💧 Drainage Issues – Spring rains often reveal low spots, erosion, and areas where water isn't moving away properly.
The good news? Most landscape problems are much easier to address when they're caught early, and a quick walk around your property every week can go a long way toward keeping your landscape healthy and looking its best all summer long.
